How to remove scars

Autumn is a perfect time for skin resurfacing. Sun activity is lower and also lower is the risk to get hyperpigmentation.

For person, who would like to remove scars after surgery, posttraumatic marks on the body, remove from the face acne scars of different depths and shapes, remove hyperpigmentation, burn scars, smooth out facial wrinkles and tighten oval face – is recommended microdermabrasion.

As the name implies, microdermabrasion is a procedure of controlled skin resurfacing by removing dead skin cells in epidermis micro layer after micro layer.

Microdermabrasion should not be confused with dermabrasion. Dermabrasion is an invasive procedure of removing epidermis layer using general anesthesia. Dermabrasion is recommended in severe skin diseases and requires a long rehabilitation period, bandaging, and it is rather a risky method, as it can cause post operative complications.

To avoid the risk associated with invasive methods and possibility of infection of injured skin, there is used a non invasive and completely safe method of microdermabrasion.

Advantages of microdermabrasion is that it doesn’t leave the skin wounds and cuts, doesn’t cause inflammation and doesn’t require rehabilitation period. Immediately after the procedure, you can return to normal life activities.

For microdermabrasion procedure there are used diamond crystals or aluminum oxide crystals (corundum). These are the most solid and abrasive materials existing in nature.

Advantage of skin resurfacing using aluminum oxide crystals (crystal microdermabrasion) is an absolute sterility, used material is completely hygienic and eliminates the possibility of infection. Corundum composition is non-toxic, non-allergenic, doesn’t leave the skin wounds and scratches, in the interaction with the skin doesn’t emit heat and excellent exfoliate dead cells.

The advantage of diamond microdermabrasion for a cosmetologist is a lack of consumables. The procedure is performed with diamond heads that are sterilized and reusable. Effects of the procedure are the same as in crystal microdermabrasion.

Scar removal process requires multiple microdermabrasion treatment. Scars form as a result the formation of connective tissue between the cells of its own layer of the epidermis. By microdermabrasion skin resurfacing with each procedure there is removed excess tissue, contributing to the emergence of healthy cells. Procedure provides qualitative and long-term results, because it increases the rate of growth of epidermal cells, and after a few sessions, the skin is completely renewed.

In one series are performed from 2 to 10 procedures (the average number is 5) at intervals of 1 to 4 weeks. The frequency and number of procedures are set individually, depending on the intended purpose and skin needs.
